Nick Lujan is a New York based professional makeup artist, team leader, trainer and educator with over 18 years of experience in the industry.  He is widely recognized for his unique approach to coaching & developing artistry in others, and his artistic ability to flex and blend styles within the beauty, editorial, creative and fx worlds.

As a trained makeup artist and educator, Nick has worked with major cosmetics brands, providing insight encompassing team development, artistry, product development, artist relations and creation and facilitation of educational programs.

 

With his extensive experience in the Cosmetics Industry, Nick also works with, marketing, public relations and creative teams, to create brand campaign visuals, develop content for social use, educate Pro’s/Influencers, conduct editor facing desk-sides, consult on beauty editor stories, facilitate makeup seminars, and is an on-camera talent.

Over the years, Nick has worked with incredible photographers and performers & influencer talents.

Some of his work has been shot by Photographers, Mike Ruiz, Ellen von Unwerth, Miguel Herrera, Warren Giddarie & Ylva Erevall.

His work has been recently been featured in the book “Life is a Stage,” –Dany Sanz, 2017; and in the “Black is King,” film – Beyoncé, 2020.

Nick has assisted incredible artists like Alexx Mayo, for his work with Lizzo, in the 2019 VMA’s, Good Morning America & SNL.  He has also assisted the artist Rokael Lizama, with body paint and beauty makeup on the “Black Is King,” film, 2020.
